The new RT60 torch incorporates Coaxial-assist and improved contact-start technologies designed specifically for the Powermax600/800/900 and MAX42/43 systems. The RT60 is a 60-amp retrofit torch that will bring today’s improved cutting performance and extended consumable life to all customers using the original plasma arc cutting torch. Based on the proven design of the Hypertherm T60 torch for the Powermax 1000 G3 Series, the new RT60 torch delivers production costs 36% lower than the original PAC125 torch on ˝ -inch mild steel, due to higher cutting speeds and dramatically increased parts life. The Coaxial-assist™jet of the nozzle and shield improves the arc dynamics and stability of the cutting arc. This converts into a 32% increase in cutting speed over the original PAC125 and up to 86% speed improvement over competitive designs on ˝-inch mild steel. - Longer consumable life and superior cut quality
The RT60 achieves consumable life 175% longer than the original PAC125 torch. Additionally, the RT60 retrofit torch is compatible with the FineCut™ consumables for optimized thin gauge cutting on both mild and stainless steels. The RT60 torch assembly incorporates Hypertherm’s quick-disconnect that’s fully compatible with the Powermax 600/800/900 and MAX42/43 and provides a strain relief designed for durability. The RT60 is available in both manual and mechanized versions. The RT60 utilizes the same consumables as the Powermax 1000.
